    Nepal Traverse - 2011
Expedition: independent Dutch expedition
Team: Henk Wesselius, Katja Staartjes & Chhiree Sherpa
Goal: by foot from the North-West triple border point to the North-East triple border point, in 3 stages.
Stage I - 2011: from Darchula to NW triple border point (5,300 m), the start of the Traverse. The end-point of the first stage was Jomsom: 900 km + 55 km climbing and descending furtherup.
Extraordinary crossings has been made from Chheti to Dhuli and from Saipalgaon to Yari in Humla. Read more

Expedition: independent Dutch expedition, without O2

Route: normal route (north-east side)
Result autumn: fore-summit: 8,140 m (3th October)

Manaslu (8,163 m), Nepal - spring 2008
Expedition: independent Dutch expeditions, without O2 
Team spring: Menno Boermans, Miriam Knepper, Katja Staartjes, Niels van Veen,  Henk Wesselius and the Sherpa's Lakpa en Nuru. The original goal was Shisha Pangma, but countryborders were closed.

Result spring: 7,700 m

Result: highest point 7600 m (18th may 2006)

Expedition: participation in a large international, commercial expedition via OTT (Great Britain)
Expedition leader: John Tinker
Team: 19 climbers (9 nationalities) + Sherpa’s
Route: normal route (South Col and Southeast Ridge)
Oxygen: from 7,950 m, only in climb up
Top: 13 May 1999, together with 7 teammates + 2 team Sherpas. Read more
     
  Cho Oyu (8,201 m), Tibet - 1998
Expedition: participation in a large commercial expedition by Snow Leopard Adventures, without O2
Expedition leaders: René de Bos and Robert Steenmeijer
Team: 21 Dutch climbers + 2 Sherpa’s
Route: normal route (West Ridge + West Wall)
Top: 20 May 1998, together with Sherpa Nawang (end of may another 6 teammembers on summit)
